Can my phone be used as a mobile hotspot for data tethering?
Mobile hotspot functionality (which allows you to use your smartphone to share your Charity Mobile data plan with your other wireless-enabled devices, such as tablets and laptops) is available on certain current and previous Charity Mobile smartphones:

• Apple iPhone XR
• Apple iPhone X
• Apple iPhone 8
• Apple iPhone 7 Plus
• Apple iPhone 7
• Apple iPhone SE
• Apple iPhone 6s Plus
• Apple iPhone 6s
• Apple iPhone 6 Plus
• Apple iPhone 6
• Apple iPhone 5s
• Apple iPhone 5c
• Apple iPhone 4s
Certain Android smartphones and other "bring your own" devices may also support mobile hotspot functionality. Please refer to your phone's user guide to determine how to enable and test mobile hotspot functionality.
There is no additional charge to enable mobile hotspot functionality, but you are responsible for all data usage generated by your smartphone and all wireless devices tethered to your smartphone. Note that your smartphone's Wi-Fi connection will be disabled whenever it is acting as a mobile hotspot, and your smartphone and all tethered wireless devices will only use your plan's cellular data during this time. Charity Mobile recommends that you upgrade to a plan with additional data if you intend to use mobile hotspot functionality regularly.
